Les Fiefs De Lagrange Saint Julien Bordeaux 2003
This second wine of Chateau Lagrange is a great value in Medoc wine. The hot 2003 vintage produced a wine of big ripeness and fruit, but still well structured. One of the better Bordeauxs you can get for under $30.
If you're new to Bordeaux wine, a second wine is another wine produced from a famous and usually classified Bordeaux, from grapes that perhaps didn't make the cut for the Chateau's main wine or from another vineyard, although the price is so much lower than the primary wine they are known to be exceptionally good values.
