What needs to be said about a wine such as this? Rich and buttery while still being crisp and acidic. Layers upon layers of flavor, it can be drunk now but a few years of cellaring will soften the acidity and oak to reveal yet more treasures. Although from a less famous vintage, this wine turned out fantastic and is a bargain compared to the same wine in 2005. For lovers of Burgundy or if you want to splurge on a fine Chardonnay.
