Chateau Nenin Pomerol 2005
"(90-92) out of 100...This deep ruby/purple/plum-colored, powerful (14.2% alcohol) Pomerol was fashioned from a blend of 74% Merlot and 26% Cabernet Franc. One of the fattest Nenins yet made, it possesses supple tannin super-imposed with a Medoc structure, not surprising in view of the fact that this Pomerol is made by the same classic winemaking team responsible for Leoville Las-Cases. The 2005 Nenin exhibits plenty of sweet black cherry and plum-like fruit with a kirsch liqueur-like thickness. The tannins suggest it will require 4-5 years of cellaring, and should keep for 20-25 years." - Wine Advocate
