FRV 100 De Jean-Paul Brun Sparkling Gamay
This Beaujolais is made to be pleasurable-light, fruity, and delicious. Is it the fanciest? No. The most complex? No. Forget all that. Light in alcohol, lightly bubbly, and lightly sweet. On the nose, there's a touch of strawberry; and on the palate, it shows the loveliest mix of sweet and tart flavors with a little of the earthiness coming through on the finish. Pairs beautifully with fried calamari, Thai curries, or even a dark chocolate treat.
The label is even a fun play on words. FRV 100 said in French means effervescent!
