sweet Chardonnay grapes are fortified with Virginia-distilled brandy,
and then aged for six months in Jack Daniel’s® barrels to develop
complex and unique spicy aromas that are truly all-American.
There are deep, fresh aromas and flavors of pear, white peach, and
citrus, with notes of licorice, vanilla, and roasted almonds." Winemakers Notes
We applaud Kluge for thinking outside the box on this wine, because the results are delightful. This is a deep, complex wine, that would be a good substitute for a port paired with a true Stilton, or pate. It is labeled as an aperitif wine, and depending on your palate (we prefer to start with something a bit lighter) can be used as a digestif as well. Served well-chilled.
