Standing Stone Riesling 2006
An off-dry Riesling with a very "clean, mineral" nose. On the palate notes of peaches and pears and more of the clean, mineral taste that was picked up on the nose. A nice finish based on excellent acidity and balance. Don't let the off-dry comment scare you off as this is far from a typical "dry" wine and is loaded with flavor. The residual sugar is about 2%, but the 3.0 ph cleans it up perfectly.
