Review: Saturated ruby. Brooding aromas of plum, cherry liqueur, prune,
candied fig and date, plus a subtle note of tobacco. Intense, deep dark
berry fruit flavors show a fresh, juicy quality. Really expands on the
finish, showing a broad array of dark fruit and confectionery flavors,
with no lack of freshness. Finishes firm and very long. Given the high
prices of many world-class late-harvest wines these days, this rates as
a steal.
