BrewDog Paradox Islay
BrewDog is a relatively new craft brewery based in Fraserburgh, Scotland. This beer starts out as an Imperial Stout. It then spends several months aging in Scotch Whiskey casks, in the case of this batch the casks come from the Ardbeg distillery in Islay. This gives the beer a full, rich taste with characteristic coffee and smokey flavors plus hints of peat, scorched earth, and, of course, scotch. Truly a unique beer experience. If you are both a beer lover and Scotch lover, this is a must-have.
