Poggerissi Rosato de Toscana 2007
This rose (rosato) is made from Sangiovese harvested from the Chianti zone in Tuscany. Fresh and fruity, it has floral aromas with a pronounced red cherry flavor along with other red fruits. It doesn't have the earthiness of red Sangioveses. Dry but fruity, it is great on its own but also pairs well with soft Italian cheeses and grilled fish.
